Information On The 120-byte Acknowledgement

What Makes AKSYS the Best Acknowledgement Service?

What's New For Revenue Departments?

What's New For Transmitters?

Policy regarding late notices.

The price per acknowledgement charged by AKSYS depends on the number processed and on related costs.
Because of the loss of another state's acknowledgements for the 2006 filing season,
and an increase in the cost of providing the service due to rising energy and labor charges,
AKSYS has raised its rate to 16 cents effective December 1, 2005.
The rate could increase, without notice,
if the number of participating revenue departments decreases further or if
costs of services and products related to providing the service rise.

Transmitters who have their AKSYS services interrupted because they have
not paid their bill by the due date can be charged at a higher rate.

AKSYS employs two systems to pass acknowledgements to its transmitter customers.
They are the dialup system and the Internet system.

The Dialup System and Your Acknowledgement Files
All transmitters who are signed up for acknowledgement services from AKSYS have two current acknowledgement files on the dialup system.
One file (file name extension .01) is for acknowledgements for state personal income tax forms.
The other file (file name extension .11) is for state Form 1065 acknowledgements.

Your Web page and Your Acknowledgement Files
on the Internet System

All transmitters who are signed up with AKSYS have a page at this site. If you requested that copies of your current acknowledgement files also be placed at this site, you can access the files directly or through your page. The name of your page is the area code of the telephone number you provided when you signed up + the last four digits of the telephone number + .htm.  For example: If the number you provided when you signed up was 999 123-4567 the name of your page would be 9994567.htm and the name of your acknowledgement file for state personal income tax forms would be 999456701.txt.  The name of your file of Form 1065 acknowledgments would be 999457611.txt. You can go directly to your page or to either file by entering the name of the page or file after this site address in the address box of your browser.  Using the example provided above, the address box then would read http://gacaksys.com/9994567.htm or http://gacaksys.com/999456701.txt. or http://gacaksys.com/999456711.txt

In order to use all of the functions available from AKSYS,
you should NOT use WWW in the site address.

At your page, you can request the reposting of acknowledgments, and you can link to a current acknowledgement file.

If you requested that your acknowledgement files not be placed here at the site, the hyperlinks at the acknowledgement file buttons at your page will link only to dummy files.
